Training Location: Range Side @ the Open Air Paddock
Drones are used worldwide to deliver packages, and public safety is not excluded from this mission set. Police, Fire, and EMS deliver medical gear, operational supplies, ammunition, floatation devices, thermal blankets, and so much more. An important but lesser-known public safety mission set is recovering objects remotely using a UAV. Mastering UAV remote recovery is a skill that could keep personnel from harm’s way and expedite operational goals when additional resources are unavailable or otherwise impossible.
In this exercise, participants will practice precision delivery of payloads and remote collection of items using the drone.
(Limited to 10 pilots for each presentation)
The RTC, in conjunction with the Texas Police Association, is excited to offer TCOLE credit for Summit Attendees who complete at least three (3) RTC Training Sessions. Please register online and report to the exercise site at the designated time to sign in and receive credit.
