Course Schedule:
Virtual classroom session: November 15, 2024, through December 17, 2024 – This is our self-paced online virtual classroom environment. You will have 30 days to study the material and videos needed to pass the FAA 107 exam. You will be guided through the process by one of our FAA-certified flight instructors.
In-class session: December 18, 2024, 10am to 4pm @ The RTC, Fountain Valley Campus, California – This is our FAA 107 in-class review.
Scheduling note: When payment is received, students will be issued a voucher code and instructions on scheduling their FAA 107 Exam through PSI Examination Services. We recommend scheduling your exam immediately following the in-class review if possible.
Executive Summary:
The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Aeronautical Knowledge Test for the Remote Pilot Airman Certificate is required to fly an unmanned aerial vehicle commercially (including public service). This is particularly required for any mutual aid use of UAVs. This online course contains all of the material tested for the 107 pilot’s license. The course is self-paced but follows a progression of information with due dates to aid in completing the material in a timely manner. Online instructors engage students to answer questions and help with test preparation. Common test questions and themes have been identified by former students and will be shared to increase focused study and student success rates.
•Students will learn and then demonstrate knowledge of the FAA Part 107 requirements
•Students identify UAS in the law enforcement service environment
The Regional Training Center (The RTC) is not affiliated with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA Remote Pilot Airman Certificate is achieved by passing the FAA Aeronautical Knowledge Test. PSI Examination Services now controls all FAA Part 107 testing. The RTC staff will facilitate and assist students in scheduling their FAA examination using an RTC-issued coupon code.
